DXC will integrate Claude into the systems banks, airlines, and other regulated industries rely on
We’re announcing a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology, one of the world’s largest IT services companies. DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers (FDEs)—engineers embedded directly inside customer organizations—to bring Claude into the systems DXC operates for the world’s largest banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies.
These systems, which DXC has run for decades, handle the transactions, claims, and operations businesses depend on, under strict security and compliance requirements. Before bringing Claude to these businesses, DXC worked with Claude inside its own operations, comprising some 115,000 employees across 70 countries, with similarly stringent requirements—including collaborating with Claude to write more than 95% of the code for DXC OASIS, its new AI-native orchestration platform for managed services.
DXC is also now part of the Claude Partner Network, our network of consulting and services firms that bring Claude to enterprise clients.
Bringing Claude to DXC's own operations
DXC worked with Claude in its own systems before rolling it out to clients. For example, in April 2026, DXC launched DXC OASIS, its tool for running customers' IT systems, where AI agents handle much of the routine work. Claude is now the default foundation model powering the platform’s agentic workflows.
Claude was also the primary tool DXC used to build the platform. The firm estimates that Claude sped up software development by a factor of 10. More than 95% of the code was generated by Claude, then reviewed by software engineers. OASIS now serves over 50 DXC customers, and the firm plans to roll it out to customers around the world.
“DXC helps the world’s largest banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies put new technology to work,” said Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer, Anthropic. “They proved Claude inside their own operations first, under the same security and compliance requirements their customers face. Now we’re bringing Claude inside those environments together, industry by industry, with engineers who have already done it themselves.”
Building a team of Claude-certified engineers
For its FDE program, DXC will recruit engineers from its existing development teams and certify them through Anthropic Academy, our training and certification program for partner engineers. DXC has added its own curriculum on top of Anthropic Academy, with training specific to the mission-critical systems its customers operate.
The alliance will begin in four areas where DXC already runs large operations for customers, and where Claude can do useful work today:
- Insurance: DXC will use Claude to provide agentic solutions and modernize core systems, taking into account each customer’s business context, operating model, and strategic needs.
- Modernization as a Service (MaaS): DXC is using Claude to help enterprise customers analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases. Working with Claude will help them do so faster and with greater accuracy than would have been possible with traditional approaches.
- Cybersecurity: For OASIS, DXC is developing an always-on security engineer subagent, built on Claude Security, that will be deployed across its security operations centers (SOCs).
- Application services: Finally, DXC is using Claude to develop OASIS agents that embed Claude directly into the application maintenance and management environments DXC operates for its enterprise customers.
“For more than 50 years, DXC and the companies it was built from run the systems that run the world,” said Raul Fernandez, President and CEO, DXC Technology. “We know what it takes to deliver in these environments. This alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available, and gives our customers something they cannot get anywhere else. We are already using Claude across our own operations and our new OASIS platform. Now we are scaling that capability directly into the mission-critical technology systems we run for our customers. This is a defining moment for DXC and for the industry.”
